What if you could cut your framing time in half?

HPM Building Supply has been designing and manufacturing pre-engineered wood wall panels since 2008 giving professional contractors an affordable, high-quality solution that saves you time and money while making complex builds more efficient.

Our tailored wall panels can reduce framing time, often by more than half, helping you cut framing labor costs as much as 15 to 25 percent. Homes of under 2,000 square feet can be framed and trussed in under two days! Plus, reduce material waste and theft on your jobsite.

Made-to-Order Wall Panels
From the detailed design and review phase to setting you up for easy installation, our manufacturing team ensures that every wall panel is created to your specifications. We use advanced software and technology so that every cut follows the approved design, and our experts hand-select the lumber fed into the saw and then quality check every panel to ensure it meets all specs.

Support You Can Count On
We deliver each order with an on-time guarantee, along with a comprehensive delivery packet detailing stacking order and placement. After every job, our team completes a careful on-site inspection and asks for feedback to improve the process.

For a Smoother Build
Eric Scicchitano, Director of Manufacturing & Distribution Operations, says our customers are often impressed with how the panels make framing that much easier. “Instead of being worn out from bending over and framing all day, the crew is still fresh and energetic,” he says. “You can get the roof on faster and go on to the next phase or project… Time is money!”

Eric Scicchitano
Director of Manufacturing & Distribution Operations

Eric Scicchitano started working at HPM Building Supply in 2010 for two main reasons: our company’s long track record of helping people build better, and the idea of being part of a business that keeps dollars in the local economy. Originally from Syracuse, New York, he fell in love with the culture and community of Hawai‘i Island and HPM, and was inspired by the way people come together to get things done. “I’ve been all over the world and you just don’t see the same sense of ‘ohana elsewhere,” he says.

Building Better Starts with Teamwork
Eric guides our day-to-day manufacturing and material distribution, leading a team of 73 and mentoring managers for six divisions, including the Distribution, Truss & Wall Panels and Custom Metal Roofing operations. He collaborates with fellow HPM owners to move forward with product and service innovations and to help you get what you need for each unique job. “I really enjoy digging and improving processes and working to enhance efficiencies,” he says.

Relationships Mean Everything
Eric is committed to maintaining strong relationships with pro builders and his crew. “Without customers, we have no business, and without dedicated and motivated employees, we have no customers,” he says. Caring for others also extends to neighbors in need. Most recently he has been assisting with manufacturing and planning for the HPM Micro-Homes Project, providing shelter for residents displaced by the Kīlauea lava flow.

Eric feels lucky to be part of a dynamic local company that acknowledges hard work and dedication, and helps him grow. “I’ve been challenged to be the best I can be.” His favorite part of the job? “Problem-solving and seeing my teams rise to the occasion and make the impossible happen.”
